This listing is for the photographed 1985 (Law of 1974) Cayman Islands Currency Authority 1 Dollar Banknote. This note was issued under the Cayman Islands Currency Law of 1974. Note was issued with the prefix A/3, differentiating it from other issues. Signed by Jefferson, later issue than the other notes with an A/3 prefix. Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at the right of the obverse of this note, as well as designs of a treasure chest, fish, and other sea creatures across the note. Reverse shows a print of a fish swimming in a coral reef. Almost Uncirculated (AU) grade/condition, little to no visible folds or signs of circulation, crisp note. P#5b (Pick Number 5b).
