Depicted is a beautiful sterling silver necklace with a cross/crucifix pendant with a turquoise stone lying at the intersection of the pendant. Stamped "925 Thailand" on the back hollow portion of the pendant. There is also a cool leaflike pattern that the cross follows. The Navajo believed turquoise was a sacred stone used for protection from evil, good fortune, and health. The turquoise blue is very special in Navajo culture resembling the sky and water.
