The Story

This listing is for the Handcrafted Fused Penny Trick Coin w/ Two Different Years. This unique item is a handcrafted novelty coin created from two genuine U.S. Lincoln Wheat Pennies. This is a modified, "gaffed" coin intended for magic tricks or pranks, not a rare mint error. This is a classic magician's or prank coin, expertly modified to feature the obverse ("heads") side of a 1947 Lincoln Wheat Cent and the obverse ("heads") side of a 1951 Lincoln Wheat Cent. The coins have been precision-ground and seamlessly fused together, creating a convincing "two-headed" penny. A clear sign of post-mint modification, the fusion point is along the rim, making the alteration difficult to detect by casual observation. Great Find!!!
