This postcard is unposted but has the writing "July 14th 1908" on the reverse. The Wrench Series postcards were published from 1900-04 by (John) Evelyn Leslie Wrench, and from 1904-06 as Wrench Postcards Ltd. Wrench went on to work for Lord Northcliffe's newspapers, including the Daily Mail, and to launch the English-Speaking Union in 1918. He was knighted in 1932.
