This listing is for the Naga 7-Headed Snake Phra Nakprok Metal Mediation Keepsake. This Unique Statue depicts a Naga, a seven-headed snake with a Buddha in prayer. The Naga surrounds their head, and also the Naga has placed itself underneath the individual and lifted them off the ground in a coil-like shape.  Believed to offer protection, inner peace, and spiritual strength. The Naga, known as Mucilanda in the specific story, emerged from the earth to shelter the Buddha from heavy rains during his meditation. This statue is from Thailand, but more specifically from Lanna. Most of these statues are made from clay, but this one has more metal composition than the others.
